The Chargers scored a run in the bottom of the 1st inning. John R. was hit by a pitch. Brent R. reached on an error and Marc B. singled to load the bases. John R. scored on a double play ground ball to give the Chargers a 1-0 lead.
Northeast scored 3 runs in the 4th inning to take a 3-1 lead. The Chargers scored 2 runs in the 5th inning. John S. and John R. both walked. Brent R. reached on a single to load the bases. Marc B. hit a ground ball to drive in 1 run and the 2nd run scored on an error to tie the game 3-3.
Northeast scored 3 runs in the 7th inning to make the final score 6-3.
Marc B. pitched 3 2/3 innings allowing 1 earned run, 8 strikeouts and 6 hits. Jason K. worked 3 1/3 innings allowing 2 earned runs, 2 hits and 4 strikeouts.
The defensive play of the game for the Chargers was turned in by Jon O. with a backhanded stab of a ground ball to retire the hitter at 1st base.
