The Chargers broke the game open with 12 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. Brent R. walked, Marc B. dougled to drive in the 1st run of the game. Spencer H. singled to drive in a run. Jason K. walked and Jon O. singled to drive in another run. Austin R. walked and Juan D. walked to force in a run. Miles B. doubled to drive in 2 runs. John R. doubled to drive in a run. Brent R. doubled to drive in 2 runs. Marc B. hit a 2 run homer. Jason K. singled and Jon O. tripled to drive in a run.
Shorecrest struck again with 6 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Juan D. reached on an error. Miles B. walked and John R. singled to drive in a run. Marc B. doubled to drive in 2 more runs. Jason K. tripled to drive in a run and Jon O. hit a 2 run homer to give the Chargers an 18-0 lead.
In the bottom of the 3rd inning the Chargers scored another run. John R. tripled and Brian K. also tripled to drive in a run to make the final score 19-0.
Jason K. picked up the win for the Chargers working 2 innings allowing no hits, no runs and 4 strike outs. Tyler L. worked 2 innings allowing no hits, no runs and 4 strike outs. Brian K. worked 1 inning allowing 1 hit and throwing 1 strike out.
The defensive play of the game was a great throw from left fielder Miles B. to shortstop Cody T. who made a perfect throw to 3rd base to retire the hitter at 3rd.
