The Chargers played a very good game against an outstanding Willliston
Baseball Team on the road Thursday night.
Twelve scouts were in attendance at the game to focus on Charger Marc B
and Williston’s center fielder and other players as well. Marc B pitched a great game allowing one
earned run, 5 hits, 6 strike outs and one walk against a powerful hitting
team. Marc B also hit a solo home run in
the top of the 4th inning to give the Chargers a 1-0 lead. Williston scored an unearned run in the
bottom of the 4th inning to tie the game 1-1. Williston scored the winning run in the 7th
inning to win the game 2-1.
The Chargers definitely played their best game of the year but unfortunately
fell a run short. Good defensive plays
were turned in for the Charger by Andrew R and Chris H.

Marc B with a home run, a single and one RBI/run scored
Andrew R with a base hit
