The Chargers scored a run in the bottom of the 1st inning on a double by Marc B. Spencer H. singled to drive in the 1st run of the game to give the Chargers a 1-0 lead.
In the bottom of the 3rd John S. walked and scored on Spencer H’s single to give the Chargers a 2-0 lead. In the Chargers’ 5th inning, Marc B, Spencer H. and Brian K. all singled to load the bases. A run scored on a wild pitch. Andrew R. singled to drive in a run. Jake B. drove in a run with a ground out and another run scored on a wild pitch to give the Chargers a 6-0 lead.
Marc B. pitched an outstanding game, working 5 2/3 innings, allowing only 2 hits, 11 strikeouts and no runs. Jordan L. finished the game working 1 1/3 innings giving up no runs, no hits and 2 strikeouts.

The Chargers will play district rival Northside Christian on Thursday, April 7 at 4:00 pm at Northside. Fan support for the game would be well appreciated! With a win, the Chargers could clinch the number one seed in the District Tournament.
