John R. led off with a base hit in the top of the 1st inning. John S. singled and Marc B. hit a sacrifice fly to drive in the 1st run of the game. Spencer H. walked and Jon O. drove in a run with a base hit. Brian K. walked to force in another run. Jason K. hit a sacrifice fly to drive in a run and Andrew R. singled in a run to give the Chargers a 5-0 lead in the 1st inning.
In the 3rd inning Brian K. led off with a base on balls. Jason K. doubled to put runners on 2nd and 3rd for the Chargers. Andrew R. singled to drive in 2 runs. John R. hit a sacrifice fly to drive in the 3rd run of the inning to give the Chargers an 8-0 lead.
In the top of the 4th inning Spencer H. walked. Brian K. and Jason K. also walked. A run scored on a wild pitch. Miles B. reached on an infield error and 2 runs scored to give the Chargers an 11-0 lead.
Northside Christian scored an unearned run in the bottom of the 4th inning to cut the lead to 11-1. Neither team scored in the 5th inning and the game was called because of the 10 run rule.
Jason K. got the win working 4 innings allowing only 1 hit and 8 strikeouts and no earned runs. John S. worked 1 inning and did not allow a run or a hit and struck out 1.
With the win the Chargers wrapped up the #1 seed in the district seed in the district tournament with a record of 7-0 with 1 game remaining to be played in the district.
