The Chargers finished in 4th place in the Seminole High School Steve Georgiadis Tournament. Berkeley scored 2 runs in the 2nd inning to take a 2-0 lead. Berkeley scored another run in the 4th inning to go ahead 3-0. The Chargers scored a run in the 5th on 4 walks to cut the lead to 3-1. Berkeley broke the game open with 4 more runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to take the 7-1 win.
The Chargers were sloppy on defense and only had 4 hits in the game.
Jordan L. picked up the loss working 4 innings, allowing 3 earned runs, 3 hits and 5 strikeouts. Jason K. pitched 2 innings allowing 3 earned runs, 4 hits and 4 strikeouts.
