IMG Baseball School jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning. In the bottom of the 1st the Chargers scored a run and tied the game at 1-1. John S. walked and Spencer H. drove him in with a base hit. IMG scored an unearned run in the 4th inning to take a 2-1 lead. IMG scored 2 more runs in the top of the 5th inning to make the score 4-1.
In the bottom of the 5th inning Jason K. led off with a walk. Jake B. singled to drive in a run. John R. reached on a fielder’s choice and scored on a wild pitch to cut the lead to 4-3. The Chargers tried to rally in the 7th inning but were unable to score and lost the game 4-3.
Marc B. took the loss for the Chargers. He pitched 5 innings, allowing 2 earned runs, 4 hits and 5 strikeouts. Jason K. pitched 2 innings allowing no runs, 1 hit and 3 strikeouts.

The Chargers will play Berkeley Prep for 3rd place in the Seminole High School Steve Georgiadis Tournament at 4:00 pm on Saturday.
