The Chargers scored 1 run in the bottom of the 1st inning. John R. led off with a base hit but was thrown out attempting to steal 2nd. Brent R. walked and Marc B. walked. With 2 outs Jason K. singled to drive in the 1st run of the game. In the 3rd inning John R. doubled, Brent R. walked and Marc B. singled to drive in a run to make the score 2-0 in favor of Shorecrest. John S. led off the 4th inning with a hit and Brent R. tripled to drive in the run and give the Chargers a 3-0 lead. The Chargers scored another run in the 5th inning on a triple by Jason K. and he scored on a wild pitch to make the score 4-0.
Pinellas Park scored 7 runs in the top of the 7th inning on 1 hit and 2 hit batters, 2 walks, a sacrifice fly and 4 errors to win the game 7-4.
Marc B. pitched 6 innings with 12 strikeouts and allowed only 3 hits, 2 walks, 1 hit batter and no earned runs.
