Shorecrest 2, Forest High School 12
The Chargers played Forest High School in Williston on Tuesday afternoon. Forest High School jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning. They scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning to take a 6-0 lead.
The Chargers scored 2 runs in the 3rd inning to cut the lead to 6-2. Austin R. led off with a walk. Jake B. reached on an error. Spencer H. walked and Marc B. reached on an error and 2 runs scored.
Forest High School scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning to take a commanding 10-2 lead. They scored 2 more runs in the 5th inning.
Jason K. picked up the loss for the Chargers .Brian K. pitched in relief.
The Chargers will be on the road again traveling to Kissimmee to face Osceola High School on Saturday, March 19at 1:00 pm.
