Osceola 9, Shorecrest 5
Osceola scored a run in the 2nd inning on a double and a single to take a 1-0 lead. In the top of the 3rd Shorecrest scored five runs. Andrew R. singled, John S. reached on a two-base error to put runners on 2nd and 3rd. John R. walked to load the bases. Andrew R. and John S. scored on a wild pitch and a passed ball. Marc B. doubled to drive in a run. Spencer H. and Jason K. walked. Brian K. singled and drove in a run and Jason K. scored in a run-down play.
Osceola scored three runs in the 3rd inning on a 3-run homer to cut the lead to 5-4. Osceola put the game away in the fourth inning with 5 more runs to take the 9-5 lead. In the 6th inning Brian K. led off with a single. Jon O. doubled to put runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs, however the Chargers were unable to score.
Jason K. pitched 3 1/3 innings and picked up the loss. John R. worked the final 2 2/3 innings.
