In the top of the 1st inning
Spencer H and Andrew R both walked. Spencer H scored a run on a past ball to
give the Chargers a 1-0 lead.
In the 3rd inning Jason K
walked, Andrew R singled, Avery C and Chris H walked to force in a run and a
run scored on a wild pitch to give the Chargers a 3-0 lead.
In the top of the 4th inning
St. John Neumann scored an unearned run to cut the lead to 4-1.
Anthony F walked to lead off the
bottom of the 4th. Jake B
walked and Jason K singled. Spencer H walked to force in a run and Andrew R hit
a sacrifice fly and a run scored on a wild pitch to give the Chargers a 5-1
lead.
Matt B led off the bottom of the 6th
inning with a walk. Jason K doubled to
drive in a run. Spencer H hit a
sacrifice fly to drive in another run and make the final score 7-1.
Marc B pitched 5 innings – allowing
no earned runs, 1 hit, 4 strike outs and no walks to pick up the win for the
Chargers. Jason K worked 2 innings with
no runs, 2 strike outs and no walks. Marc
B and Jason K both pitched outstanding baseball.
Jake B made a great defensive catch
at center field and Matt B made a great play at 2nd base.
