The Chargers received great pitching but they came up 1 run short. John S. started on the mound for the Chargers and he did not give up an earned run. He struck out 2 and walked 1. Marc B. worked 2 innings allowing no runs, striking out 4 and walked 1. Jason K. worked 2 innings and did not allow an earned run. He struck out 2 and did not walk anybody. Tyler L. pitched 1 inning and did not allow an earned run. He had 2 strikeouts and did not walk a batter.

Northeast scored a run in the 2nd inning to take the 1-0 lead. The Chargers answered with a run in the 3rd inning. Tyler L. led off with a walk. Paul M. singled Tyler to 3rd base. John R. drove in Paul M. with an infield ground out. John S. led off the 4th inning with a base on balls. Spencer H. drove John S. in with a ground ball out to make the score Chargers 2, Northeast 1.

Northeast scored runsin the 5th and 6th innings to win the game to make the final score 3-2.

The Chargers jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning. John R. singled and John S. tripled to drive in the first run. Marc B. grounded out to drive in the second run. Osceola scored 2 runs in the 2nd inning and 4 runs in the 3rd inning to take a 6-2 lead. They had another run in the 7th inning to make the score Osceola 7, Shorecrest 2.

The Chargers faced some very good pitching and only had 4 hits in the game. John R. pitched 2 2/3 innings and picked up the loss. He gave up 5 earned runs, 6 hits and had 2 strikeouts. Paul M. pitched 4 1/3 innings allowing 1 run, 1 hit, 2 strikeouts and no walks.

Shorecrest 9, Osceola 2

Osceola scored a run in the 1st inning and a run in the 2nd inning to take a 2-0 lead. The Chargers rallied with 6 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning to go ahead 6-2. Spencer H. tripled and Jon O. drove him in with a sacrifice fly. Tyler L. walked and Paul M. singled to drive him in. Andrew R. and John S. both walked and Paul M. scored on a wild pitch. Andrew R. also scored on a wild pitch. John R. walked and scored on an error. Spencer H. singled to drive in a run. In the 3rd inning, Tyler L. reached on an error and scored on a wild pitch to give the Chargers a 7-2 lead. In the bottom of the 6th inning, John S. doubled and John R. tripled to drive in a run. Brent R. singled to drive in the final run to make the final score 9-2.

Jason K. started pitching for the Chargers and worked 1 2/3 innings, allowing 1 earned run, 3 hits and 1 strikeout. Tyler L. picked up the win, working 5 1/3 innings of shutout baseball. He allowed 2 hits, had 8 strikeouts and no walks.
